Sufferers of rain and hailstorm to be duly compensated in U.P.

Lucknow: In many districts of Uttar Pradesh, farmers have suffered losses due to rain and hailstorm.  Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath  in view of the rain and hailstorm in various districts, said that the officers in all the districts should conduct relief work with full promptness.

Along with this, announcing a financial assistance of Rs 4 lakh to the affected family in case of loss of life due to the disaster, an order has been given to send this amount to the victims soon. CM Yogi has instructed the officers that those whose houses were damaged or animals were damaged. Financial assistance should be provided to such affected people immediately. Crops have been destroyed due to natural calamity. In such a situation, it has also been asked to assess the loss of crops and submit its details to the government so that appropriate action can be taken in this regard.

According to information, along with rain and hailstorm, there have also been reports of lightning in Barabanki and Kushinagar districts. During this, one person has also died. Wheat crop has been damaged in many districts. In its forecast, the Meteorological Department has predicted moderate to heavy rains for the next five days, which has increased the concern of the farmers.

The Meteorological Department has predicted light rain in Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Shamli, Hapur, Noida, Aligarh, Ghaziabad, Rampur, Bijnor, moderate rain in Badaun, Sambhal, Farrukhabad, Saharan and moderate to heavy rain in Bareilly, Pilibhit.
