Lucknow: On Wednesday, August 18, the state government will present the first supplementary budget of the financial year 2021-22 in the Legislature. In this supplementary budget coming amidst preparations for the 2022 assembly elections, arrangements will be made to fulfill the commitments and priorities of the government. The funds required for the projects to be completed with top priority before the elections are expected to be given through it. Commitment can also be seen to take forward the development plans of Ayodhya, Kashi, Gorakhpur. It is believed that the size of the supplementary budget can go beyond 30 thousand crores.
What is there in the basket of this mini budget for the development of the state and for the public, it will be revealed only after the presentation of the budget on the floor of the House. According to the guidelines set by the government, the Finance Department has prepared the figures of this budget.
It is said that along with the ongoing Shrikashi Vishwanath Corridor Project in Varanasi, the government can give a lot of money through this for the plans of the industrial area of Varanasi, big plans of Gorakhpur as well as the development plans of Ayodhya.
