Lucknow. Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow organized a Marketing Conclave on the topic of “Sustainability and Agile Marketing Practices.” During the conclave the speakers shared their experiences and best practices in implementing sustainable and agile marketing practices, providing valuable insights for attendees. The conclave was a thought-provoking and informative event that emphasized the importance of sustainability in today’s world and the role that companies play in promoting it.
During his speech, Yawer Ali Shah, the Co-Founder and CEO of AMA Herbal Group of Companies, stressed the significance of sustainability in the present times, emphasizing that it is essential for leading a fulfilling life without compromising on anything and not leaving future generations to bear any negative consequences.
He also stated that as more consumers start to use sustainable products, the demand for them will rise. He also pointed out that despite the billions of dollars being invested in sustainability initiatives, the trend of sustainability is unfortunately declining.
Shah also discussed the difference between bio-degradable products and products that can be recycled, noting that bio-degradable products do not harm the soil and maintain its fertility. He pointed out that developments in the last 70-75 years have been done for the convenience of consumers, and that this practice continues until consumers take a step to change it.
He also highlighted the sustainability challenge of how in the search of cheaper products we have disturbed the ecological balance. He emphasized that consumers have a greater responsibility for sustainability than industries.
