Swami Prasad Maurya continues stoking controversy
Lucknow: In Uttar Pradesh, the controversy regarding Ramcharitmanas has caught fire for the last several days. SP MLC Swami Prasad Maurya is on the target of saints, many leaders and Hindu organizations by giving controversial statements on Ramcharitmanas. Even after controversies, Maurya is firm on his statement. Meanwhile, Swami Prasad Maurya has challenged Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to register an FIR against those saints who had announced rewards for cutting off their tongue, nose, head and throat. He said that Yogi should apply NSA and file a case against Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat.
No action has been taken against saints who give supari – Maurya
Swami Prasad said that I had only objected to some lines of Ramcharimanas and demanded their removal. I had done this by staying within the constitutional ambit. An FIR was lodged against me because I am backward while no action was taken against the saints who had given me contract to cut off my organs.
Mohan Bhagwat gave this statement…
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat, while giving a big account of casteism in the midst of controversies, said that others took advantage of the division of our society. Taking advantage of this, there were attacks in our country and people from outside took advantage. Responding to this, SP MLC Swami Prasad Maurya said that just by giving statements and smearing the matter is not going to work. Swami Prasad Maurya wrote in a tweet that the caste system was created by Pandits (Brahmins), by saying this, RSS chief Shri Bhagwat exposed the so-called religious contractors and hypocrites who abuse women, tribals, Dalits and backward people in the guise of religion. Granted, at least now Ramcharitra should come forward to remove the objectionable comment from Manas.
Swami Prasad Maurya tweeted that Ma. Prime Minister, at the time of elections, these women, tribals, Dalits, backward people are called Hindus. RSS chief, Bhagwat ji says that caste was created by Pandits. So why not take the initiative to remove the objectionable comments of Ramcharitra Manas, which are mean, mean, harassing, humiliating.
