Taking development to the masses is our main focus – Keshav Prasad Maurya

Kannauj / Lucknow: The Deputy Chief Minister of the State,  Keshav Prasad Maurya during the review meeting of the development works organized at Collectorate Gandhi Auditorium, Kannauj said that the State Government is making efforts to take the development to the people. The government is working keeping in view the development of all.

The government is continuously working on this to eradicate poverty in the country and state, so that everyone should get facilities. He said that the officer who will do good work, the work of honoring him will be done, and punitive action will be ensured against the officer who performs poorly.

While reviewing the destitute cows in the district, he said that destitute cows should be kept in shelters by running a campaign and the cattle rearers should also motivate the farmers not to leave the cows unattended after milking.

Regarding law and order, the Deputy Chief Minister said that action is being taken by campaigning against crime and criminals. No innocent should be punished. The government has set up a fear-free environment. It was informed by the Superintendent of Police that there are 10 police stations in the district, out of which 1 is women police station, proposal has been sent to the government for the formation of 7 new police stations, in which there are 2 women police stations.

He said CCTV cameras have been installed at 112 intersections/intersections in the district. Action will be taken soon to install more CCTV cameras at 500 intersections/intersections. He said that a corruption-free country and state is becoming a state and the works of public interest are being disposed of with quality and top priority. Work is being done to cover all gram panchayats under the Har Ghar Drinking Water Scheme. Under Drinking Water Mission, DPRs of 98 projects have been sent to the government, action on 46 is in progress.

He said that the depth of the pipeline should be fixed under the Har Ghar Drinking Water Mission, so that the vehicular traffic is not obstructed. Special attention should be given to quality. After laying the line, also ensure the repair work of the road.

Keshav Prasad Maurya while reviewing the Electricity Department said that uninterrupted supply of electricity should be ensured in rural areas as per the prescribed roster, farmers should not face any problem related to electricity. Expressing displeasure over the excess bill on the basis of readings in the domestic meter, he directed that the electricity system should be rectified, action would be ensured if complaints are received. He said that from the point of view of tourism, this district is a district with great potential.

Under the Pradhan Mantri Svanidhi Yojana, maximum beneficiaries should be benefited, and arrangements for wedding zones for street tracks should be ensured. To benefit the beneficiaries of Ayushman card in government / non-government listed hospitals and give wide publicity to the scheme. It was told that under the National Rural Livelihood Mission, about 600 groups are active in the district, the products being prepared by them should be publicized through the state level fair/exhibition.

Maurya said that payment of MGNREGA workers should be ensured through BC Sakhis. Under Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, such farmers should be identified who are eligible and they are not getting the benefit of the scheme. Said that the Irrigation Department should ensure that water is reaching the last tail or not.

After this, the Deputy Chief Minister became aware of the problems faced by the people at Choupal in village Mochipur and gave instructions for their redressal. On this occasion, he distributed keys of houses to  Chunni, Brijkishore under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and Sarojini, Rakesh, who completed 100 days of work in a year under MNREGA, was honored.

He distributed checks worth 51 crore 60 lakhs to 860 groups to BC Sakhi under NRLM there. Similarly, e-posh machine was also distributed to BC Sakhi Renu Pal, Vimala Devi. Suman provided health equipment to Shivani and distributed motorized tricycles to 11 Divyangs.

On this occasion, Hon’ble Minister of State for Social Welfare (Independent Charge) Mr. Asim Arun, Tirwa MLA Mr. Kailash Rajput, Chhibramau Legislature Mrs. Archana Pandey, Party District President Mr. Narendra Singh Rajput, District Magistrate Mr. Shubhrant Kumar Shukla, Superintendent of Police Mr. Kunwar Anupam, Chief Development Officer Mr. R.N.Singh, etc. concerned officials, party officials were present.
