Taking example of ancient epics, Governor calls for practicing social equality

Lucknow: State Governor  Anandiben Patel  distributed gifts and sweets to Class IV and outsourced employees at Raj Bhavan on the occasion of Diwali and wished everyone happiness, prosperity and prosperity.

On this occasion, the Governor said that there should not be any kind of social discrimination in the society. He inspired to practice social equality by giving the example of Lord Shri Ram eating Shabari’s false plum and embracing Nishad Raj. In this sequence, she inspired all to read various mythological stories.

On this occasion, the Governor asked all the officers and employees to develop the qualities to bring efficiency and perfection in their work. She said that it is the responsibility of all the employees working at Raj Bhavan to keep it beautiful and clean. Everyone’s contribution is important in the cleanliness campaign. She said that the feeling of cleanliness should also be developed in children. She also asked every visitor to the Raj Bhavan to behave kindly and cooperate appropriately.

While discussing the conduct of various social works and activities by Raj Bhavan, the Governor said that the distribution of nutrition packets was started by adopting TB patients from Raj Bhavan. She said that Raj Bhavan is for such people who have no one to help them. In this sequence, she also discussed the incident of a university student who was undergoing treatment for cancer and Raj Bhavan helped him and got proper investigation done, in which it was revealed that he was suffering from TB. She told that the student did not have cancer, he had TB. Arrangements for proper nutrition of the student were made from Raj Bhavan and treatment was also started in the right direction.

The Governor also shared her experiences of Diwali festival in Gujarat and also discussed the beginning of Nav Vikram Samvat after Diwali and congratulated everyone in advance.

Among those who met the Governor  and congratulated her were Finance Minister of the State Government,  Suresh Khanna, Vice Chancellors of various state universities,  Balveer Singh Mann from Umeed Sanstha, public representatives and senior officials. Earlier, from Raj Bhavan, Additional Chief Secretary to the Governor, Dr. Sudhir Mahadev Bobde, Special Secretary  B.N. Singh, Legal Advisor  Prashant Mishra and other officers and employees also congratulated and wished the Governor on Diwali.
