Team of 600 pediatricians first line of defence for COVID third wave in Yogi Adityanath led U.P

Lucknow: In order to boost state arsenal so as to combat the third wave of the coronavirus, applications have been invited for the recruitment of 3620 specialist doctors in Medical and Health Services (PMS) cadre in Uttar Pradesh.

The state government is making every effort to save the children from the third possible wave of corona. Maximum 600 pediatricians will be recruited. More and more candidates have been called to apply for the posts of specialist doctors and then good candidates get selected, for this wide publicity is also being done across the country. If the post is vacant in the home district of the newly recruited specialist doctors, they will be posted on priority basis.

In Uttar Pradesh, constant efforts are being made to break the chain of corona virus infection. The World Health Organization (WHO) has set a standard of testing at least 140 people per million population. The population of UP is about 24 crores, so according to this standard there should be 33 thousand tests per day, but here more than three lakh tests are being done ten times more than this. UP is the state with the highest number of 5.25 crore corona tests in the country.

Due to the second wave of Corona, the tourism activities that have been stalled in the state for the last two months are now expected to be back on track. Preparations are being made to reopen the tourist places of UP once again from June 16. According to the guidelines of the government, the tourism department has started preparing to unlock the tourist places as well.
