Team Yogi in Chandigarh to wrap up domestic roadshows on January 27
Lucknow: On the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Team Yogi, engaged in helping domestic investors, will hold a road show in Chandigarh on Friday. A team of Uttar Pradesh government led by Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta ‘Nandi’, Minister of State for Agriculture Baldev Singh Aulakh and Minister of State Independent Charge, Home Guard Dharmendra Prajapati has reached Chandigarh for the road show.
In the road show to be organized at Hotel Taj, Team Yogi will present the picture of ‘New India’s New Uttar Pradesh’ in front of the investors. Along with telling them about the new industrial policy of Uttar Pradesh, they will encourage entrepreneurs to invest in UP.
The Yogi government has divided the team that arrived for the road show into two groups. In the first group, Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi, Minister of State Independent Charge, Home Guard, Dharmendra Prajapati, Infrastructure and Industrial Development Commissioner (IIDC) Arvind Kumar, Principal Secretary Irrigation and Water Resources Anil Garg and UP State Industrial Development Authority (UPCIDA), Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is Mayur Maheshwari. In the second group, Minister of State for Agriculture Baldev Singh Aulakh, Additional Chief Secretary, Sports, Navneet Sehgal, Secretary, Infrastructure and Industrial Development, Anil Sagar and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Noida Authority, Ritu Maheshwari are present.

During the program, both the groups will hold Business to Government (B to G) meetings with 34 entrepreneurs. Received investment proposals of more than 15 lakh crores
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has set a target of making the economy of Uttar Pradesh one trillion dollars. For this, the Global Investors Summit (GIS-23) will be organized in the capital Lucknow on February 10-12. To invite investors, the Uttar Pradesh government has done roadshows in 16 countries of the world. With this, letters of intent worth more than Rs 7 lakh crore have been received. After the success of foreign road shows, road shows have been organized by the government in seven major cities of the country since January 5. Due to this, investment proposals worth more than 15 lakh crore have been received so far. The roadshow to be held in Chandigarh on January 27 is the eighth and final one, from where the government is expected to receive a large number of investment proposals.
