New Delhi: A new superstar has emerged for KKR in the 13th match of IPL 2023. The name of this superstar is Rinku Singh, who did a feat which had rarely happened in history and would rarely be seen in the future. Kolkata Knight Riders needed 29 runs to win in the last over against Gujarat Titans and only 3 wickets were left. What Rinku did from here was a historic feat and that happens only occasionally in cricket. He gave the team a resounding victory by hitting five sixes in the last over. In the year 2018, Rinku Singh was joined by Kolkata Knight Riders for 80 lakh rupees. The result was not found immediately but today after about 5 years his name is on everyone’s lips. After what he did, he has become a superstar. He made the impossible feat possible by playing an unbeaten inning of 48 runs off 21 balls. Rinku Singh, who plays for KKR in IPL, was born on 12 October 1997 in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. Rinku, the third of five siblings, comes from a very simple family. He has seen difficult times in his life. Coming from an ordinary family, Rinku Singh made a distinct identity in cricket and after performing consistently well, got a chance to play for KKR in the IPL.

Rinku’s father used to deliver LPG cylinders to homes

Rinku Singh, who lives a simple lifestyle, has parents, a brother and a sister in his family. According to the information, Rinku Singh’s father’s name is Khanchandra Singh, who used to deliver LPG cylinders to homes. His mother’s name is Veena Devi who is a housewife. Rinku’s brother’s name is Jeetu Singh who used to drive an auto. His sister’s name is Neha Singh.

Three turning points of Rinku’s life

God is not himself in this world, but if he has to make someone, then he definitely comes in one form or the other and gets made. The same happened in Rinku’s life. Three people had a big contribution in changing Rinku’s life. Rinku Singh was determined to make his future in cricket. All his brothers used to support him. Meanwhile, he got out twice in the first round of the Under-16 trials. This is because they were not getting proper training. In such a situation, Mohammad Zeeshan of Aligarh came forward to help him. After this, Rinku Singh started getting coaching from Masood Amin of Aligarh in the initial days.

Masood is still his coach. While the help and guidance received from Mohammad Zeeshan played an important role in Rinku Singh’s life. Then Rinku entered domestic cricket. He played Ranji, played in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Due to this his economic condition improved. He got the house built, started doing everything in debt. After all this, in 2018, when Shahrukh Khan showed faith in him for his franchise Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), his fortunes changed from there. Now this star has shone so much that Rashid Khan’s hat-trick has also faded in front of his brightness. Rinku Singh’s cricket debut

At the age of 16, Rinku Singh started playing List A cricket for UP on 5 March 2014. He scored an inning of 83 runs in 87 balls in his very first match. After this, making his T20 debut in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy on 31 March 2014, he made a mark in the cricket world by scoring an unbeaten 24 off 5 balls against Vidarbha.

IPL career of Rinku Singh

Rinku Singh was bought by KKR in 2018 for Rs 80 lakh. Even though Rinku Singh’s performance in the first season was not good, but KKR considered his potential and retained him for IPL 2019 as well. Rinku Singh has so far scored 349 runs in 20 matches in IPL. KKR has retained Rinku in the team this year for Rs 55 lakh.
