Bareilly: District Backward Classes Welfare Officer Yogesh Pandey informed that Prime Minister’s Successful Entrance Examination is being organized to provide top class education to OBC and other students under the Prime Minister’s Young Achievers Scholarship Award scheme. Talking to reporters, he said that after the entrance test, the selection will be on the basis of merit.
The selected students will be given a scholarship of Rs 75,000 per year for studying in class 9-10 and Rs 1,25,000 per year for studying in class 11-12. The website http://yet.nta.ac.in for application in the said scheme is fixed. For the scheme, registration is scheduled till September 11, correction date is from 12 to 14 September, admit card date is on 20 September and exam date is scheduled on 25 September (Sunday).
Eligibility to apply: Other Backward Class (OBC), Economically Backward Class (EBC) and Denotified, Nomadic & Semi-Nomadic Tribes (DNT), parent/guardian’s annual income above Rs 2,50,000 (Rupees two lakh fifty thousand) shouldn’t be. To apply, the student should have an active valid mobile number, Aadhar number (UID), Aadhar linked bank account, income certificate (Rupees 2,50,000, not more than two lakh fifty thousand) and caste certificate.
