The registration status of women voters, new voters in the age group of 18-19 and disabled voters is being monitored


Lucknow: Under the direction of Chief Electoral Officer  Navdeep Rinwa, a team of Additional Chief Electoral Officers is supervising the special brief revision campaign. The polling places are also being inspected by the team. During the inspection, the availability of voter list at the polling stations, presence of the concerned booth level officer at the polling station, availability of Form-6, 6A, 7 and 8 are being observed. The registration work of women voters, new voters in the age group of 18-19 and disabled voters is being looked after.

For the purpose of intensive supervision of the special summary revision campaign, districts have been allotted to Additional Chief Electoral Officers. In the same sequence, on November 05, 2023, Deputy Chief Electoral Officer of Uttar Pradesh,  Amit Singh, in the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, inspected the polling places in Agra and Firozabad, Assistant Chief Electoral Officer,  Arvind Kumar Pandey in District Mathura, Statistical Officer Mr. TP Gupta inspected the polling places in Unnao District. Gave necessary directions to BLO.

During the revision period, essay writing, speeches, debates, mock parliament, posters, painting, slogans, rangoli, street plays, election quotient quiz, human chain, shape making from human chains, competition for decorating polling stations etc. were organized at polling places. The competitions are being organized throughout the special short revision campaign period and mainly on special dates.
