New Delhi: In the 15th season of the Indian Premier League, all the matches of the league stage are over. Now four teams will play in the playoff, out of which Lucknow and Bangalore playing in the Eliminator will have to fight tooth and nail. Rajasthan and Gujarat teams will have a chance to go to the finals even after losing the qualifiers.
There is a big problem in front of the team of Lucknow, which can become a hindrance in their way to the final. For the first time in this season, teams from Lucknow and Gujarat made it to the last four by showing a strong game in the league matches. The first and second placed Gujarat and Rajasthan will compete in Qualifier 1. At the same time, the Eliminator is to be played between the third and fourth placed Lucknow and Bangalore.
Now the trouble is that the team led by KL Rahul has not won any match against the three teams that reached the playoffs this season, which means to go to the final, then something has to be done which did not.
Lucknow did not beat any of the three teams
In this season in the league stage, Lucknow team played one match against Bangalore while Gujarat and Rajasthan played two matches each. The team lost by 18 runs against RCB. Lucknow lost the first match against Gujarat by 5 wickets while in the second match they had to face a massive 62-run defeat. Now talking about Rajasthan, in the first match, Lucknow was defeated by 3 runs and in the second by 24 runs.
