How Panchayat Secretary Priya Singh acquired Benami property in a tenure of four years
Sultanpur / Dubeypur / Kudwar: As soon as the BJP formed the government under the leadership of Yogi Adityanath for the second time in UP, under the policy of zero tolerance against corruption, the Uttar Pradesh government has clamped down on many government officials. Vigilance Establishment (Vigilance) has registered an FIR under the Prevention of Corruption Act against Sunil Kumar Gautam, the project manager of UP State Construction Corporation in the matter of raising assets disproportionate to the income, which remained a matter of discussion.
In the open investigation of Vigilance, the investigating agency submitted its report to the government after gathering concrete evidence of accumulating disproportionate assets against accused Sunil Kumar. On which the government had registered a case and sent it for further action.
Another similar case is making headlines in which Panchayat Secretary Priya Singh has been accused of having acquired benami property worth crores of rupees in four years. Yashir Baig son of Kudwar block area resident Aziz Baig wrote a letter to the District Magistrate, stating that in February 2017, Priya Singh took over the post of Panchayat Secretary in Dubeypur block, after which she was recently transferred from Dubeypur to Kudwar block, where Panchayat Secretary Priya Singh took over as Panchayat Secretary.
According to the allegation, Panchayat Secretary Priya Singh has acquired land worth more than crores of rupees in four years in Dubeypur, Lohramau, Nagar area behind Sai Paramedical School, luxury car in four years. The investigation done under the Zero Tolerance Policy will tighten the screws of other agencies including the district administration.
If the details of their income and expenses are collected in the investigation in a stipulated period, then the benami property may be exposed and then the screws of the administration will be tightened. At present, no statement has come out.
