To further boost Fish cultivation 17 projects under U.P Government see light of day

Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government has sanctioned an amount of Rs 2440.1762 (Rs 24 crore 40 lakh 17 thousand six hundred and twenty) for the implementation of 17 projects in the current financial year under the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMSY).

This amount has been sanctioned for women beneficiaries (general category). This amount was spent on 17 projects such as establishment of finfish hatcheries, construction of new rearing ponds, construction of ponds in brackish water, investment in new ponds in brackish water, construction of new ponds, construction of large RAS/biofloc, biofloc in fresh water.

Construction of ponds, construction of medium size RAS biofloc, construction of small size RAS / biofloc and construction of backyard small RAS as well as insulated vehicle, motor cycle with ice box, cycle with ice box, live fish sales centre, small mills. The establishment will be done in mobile lab/clinic for establishment of fish kiosk and diagnosis of fish disease.

A government order in this regard has been issued by the Department of Fisheries. It has been said in the mandate that for the implementation of Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana, compliance of the guidelines issued by the Government of India should be ensured. It has also been said that according to the guidelines issued by the Government of India, the amount should be transferred directly to the account of the beneficiaries using the PFMS/DBT platform.
