Lucknow: A meeting was held in the office of DCP East Gomtinagar between the office bearers of Uttar Pradesh Adarsh Vyapar Mandal and Deputy Commissioner of Police East.
DC P East Amit Kumar Anand and State President of Uttar Pradesh Adarsh Vyapar Mandal Sanjay Gupta were mainly present in the meeting.
Traders and office bearers of Chinhat, Gomti Nagar, Matiyari, Patel Nagar, Telibagh, BBD, Neelmatha, PGI markets participated in the meeting. Traders of Neelmatha demanded to build a police booth at Durgapuri Tirahe in the merchant police meeting and Telibagh, PGI, BBD , Chinhat and Patrakarpuram traders raised the problem of encroachment by hand carts and track shopkeepers in the markets prominently, DCP East visited the markets himself and assured to solve the problem.
In the meeting, DCP Amit Kumar Anand announced to hold a meeting with the traders on 18th every month and DCP appealed to the traders to be alert for the new variant of Covid-19 and follow the protocol of Covid-19.
