Traffic diversions in place during Shab – e – Barat festival

Lucknow: According to moon sighting on 07/08.03.2023 (14th Shaban) on the occasion of Shab-e-Barat festival, the following traffic diversions will be done as per requirement from 15.00 pm till the end of the festivities on 07.03.2023.

1. All types of vehicles coming from Sitapur/Madiaon side will not be able to go towards Pakka bridge from Daliganj railway crossing, rather these vehicles will be able to go to their destination via Chauraha No. 08, Nirala Nagar/IT.

2. Heavy vehicles (except roadways buses) coming from Hardoi Road will not be able to come from Dubagga Petrol Pump Tirahe towards Balaganj/Chowk, instead these vehicles will be able to reach their respective destinations via Buddheshwar/IIM Sitapur Road.

3. Roadways buses and heavy vehicles going from Kaiserbagh bus stand towards Sitapur will not be able to go towards Shahmina, Pakkapul from Daliganj bridge, but these buses/heavy vehicles will be able to reach their destination from Daliganj bridge intersection via right IT intersection, Nirala Nagar Purnia.

4. Roadways buses going from Kaiserbagh Bus Stand towards Hardoi Road will not be able to go towards Pakkapul from Shahmina, but these buses will go from Shahmina Tirahe to the left Medical College, Medical Corps (Charak). You will be able to reach your destination via Koneshwar Square.

5. The general traffic coming from Kaiserbagh/Hazratganj will not be able to go towards Pakka bridge from Shahmeena Tiraha, rather this traffic will be able to reach its destination via Medical College, Chowk to Koneshwar or Daliganj bridge intersection via right IT intersection.

6. Normal traffic from Pakka Pul Khadra side Tiraha will not be able to go towards Pakkapul Chowk, rather this traffic will be able to reach its destination via Naya Pul Bandha Road / Daliganj Bazar.

7. Normal traffic from Nimbu Park (Rumi Gate Police Chowki) intersection will not be able to go towards Bara Imambara/Pucca bridge, rather this traffic will be able to reach its destination via Medical Square, Chowk and New Bridge.

8. Normal traffic from Koneshwar Square will not be able to go towards Nibu Park Square (Rumi Gate), but it will be able to reach its destination via Chowk/Balaganj.

9. Normal traffic from Rakabganj bridge will not be able to go towards Nadan Mahal Road (Nakkas) but this traffic will be able to reach its destination via Medical College/Naka.

10. Normal traffic will not be able to move towards Aishbagh from the new overbridge slope ahead of Rana Pratap intersection, but this traffic will be able to reach its destination via Charbagh, Natha, Mawaiya.

11. Vehicles larger than Naka Hindola square, four wheelers will not be allowed to go towards Aishbagh bridge, rather these vehicles will be able to reach their destination via Rakabganj bridge/Natha, Mawaiya.

12. Two wheelers will not be able to proceed towards Aishbagh Idgah beyond Motinagar/Rajendra Nagar intersection and under Aishbagh bridge, rather these vehicles will be able to reach their destination via Motinagar/Rajendra Nagar and Aishbagh Station Road, Bhusamandi.

13. From Hyderganj Tiraha (Lal Madhav) towards Aishbagh Idgah, Aishbagh Bridge, no four wheelers/heavy vehicles will be able to go except two wheelers, rather this traffic will be able to reach its destination via Bulaki Adda, Mill Area.

14. Heavy vehicles coming from Station Road/Kanpur Road will not be allowed to go towards Eveready/Mill area from Mawaiya Tirahe, rather these vehicles will be able to reach their destination via Charbagh/Alambagh.

15. Heavy vehicles from Alambagh crossing (Langda Phatak) will not be able to go towards Babu Jagjivan Ram Academy, Eveready Mill area, instead the vehicle will be able to reach its destination via Alambagh/Barabirwa.

On the diversion route provided for general traffic, if in case of medical inevitability of any public, ambulance, hearse vehicle, fire service, school vehicle, etc. will be allowed on the restricted route in the absence of an alternative route, by the traffic police / local police during the assembly session. will be allowed.
