Traffic Month 2023 begins with a vow to make roads of Lucknow safer
Lucknow: The Lucknow Police Commissionerate has been making continuous efforts to spread the word on Road Safety. Today on 01.11.2023, on the occasion of the unveiling of the “Traffic Month 2023”, the program of inauguration of “Traffic Month-2023” in the Seminar Hall, Reserve Police Line, Lucknow was organized which was chaired by Joint Commissioner of Police, Law and Order, Commissionerate, Lucknow.
Traffic Month-2023 was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by Joint Commissioner of Police, Law and Order, Commissionerate Lucknow, Upendra Agarwal; Deputy Commissioner of Police Traffic, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic and Divisional Transport Officer.
On this occasion, Joint Commissioner of Police, Law and Order, Commissionerate, Lucknow directed Lucknow Commissionerate Police and Traffic Police to work extensively on public awareness regarding traffic rules along with enforcement action and identified about 100 schools of the district.
School students were informed to work as a messenger to provide information about traffic rules. After the program, information about the equipment was obtained from the Joint Commissioner of Police, Law and Order, Commissionerate, Lucknow in the exhibition of transport equipment in the Seminar Hall.
On this occasion, along with the above mentioned senior officers, all the Assistant Police Commissioners of Traffic, all the traffic inspectors, traffic employees, NCC cadets and traffic volunteers appointed in the traffic system were present.
