Two IAS officers receive the E – Governance Award
Lucknow: Two Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers of Uttar Pradesh cadre have received the e-governance award. IAS Dr. Roshan Jacob has received the award in the field of Chandauli Black Rice. Whereas Prashant Sharma has received the award for Innovation for Improving Public Experience at the Kumbh Mela.
Both these officers are always in headlines because of their superior working style. Along with this, they also perform their tasks very well. Using information and communication technology to provide government services is called electronic governance (e-governance).
Born in Thiruvananthapuram, the capital of Kerala, UP cadre 2004 batch IAS officer Dr. Roshan Jacob has handled the work of two departments very well. She had also performed the task of Covid control very well during the Corona period. And in the year 2013, Roshan Jacob’s name was taken for smoothening the work of LPG distribution in Gonda district and in 2014 for solving the problems of people in urban areas like Kanupar Nagar.
Apart from this, she also became the first woman director of the UP Mining Department.
Prashant Sharma, an IAS officer of UP cadre 2012 batch, also remains in headlines. He has received the award for Innovation for Improving Public Experience.
At the same time, he had some shortcomings during the lockdown in the Corona epidemic. But despite that, Prashant had launched a website to help countrymen fight misinformation on the pandemic.
Prashant along with his wife had created a website named coronajankari.in. Its purpose was that no misinformation should spread among the people. It was started keeping in mind the illiterate society.
