Lucknow: The Vice Chairman of NITI Aayog appreciated the remarkable progress made in various areas in the state and 08 aspirational districts in the state during the last four and a half years.
Nutrition, Health, Education, Rural Development, Sanitation and Drinking Water, Irrigation and Water Resources, Industry, Agriculture, Energy, Namami Gange and Rural Water Supply, Rural Development, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Urban Development, Housing and Urban Planning, Medical Education Discussions regarding the progress of various development schemes run in the state including NITI Aayog’s positive and cooperative approach towards Uttar Pradesh is helpful in taking the state forward on the path of development said the Chief Minister
With the guidance and cooperation of NITI Aayog, the process of development is being carried forward rapidly in the state. The state government will ensure all possible cooperation and efforts in meeting the goals of sustainable development. 08 aspirational districts of the state are being connected with the mainstream of development by making an action plan.
According to the norms of NITI Aayog, special efforts were made for progress and improvement in various areas.
Notable work was done in the areas of industrial development and infrastructure, education, girl child education, micro, small and medium enterprises, nutrition, agriculture, irrigation and water resources etc.
Entrepreneurship, employment, innovation and Make in UP got a boost due to the implementation of the policies and programs of the state government.
Apart from ‘Ease of Doing’, achieving the goal of ‘Ease of Living’ is the focal point of various programs and schemes.
Work has been done expeditiously in the direction of providing water, electricity to every household, roads in every village, banking facilities in every area.
Uttar Pradesh has emerged as an attractive destination for investors and entrepreneurs. Priority is being given to the expansion of health services, the process of setting up a medical college in each district is in progress. Irrigation facilities were increased in Bundelkhand while working in the field of irrigation and water resources.
Ensured payment to farmers for their produce under MSP. Fruit trees and organic farming in the state and the banks of Ganga and Cow based and organic farming is being encouraged.
