U.P. Chief Secretary issues special directives for Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav festivities
Lucknow: Regarding the Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi in Uttar Pradesh, UP Chief Secretary DS Mishra has issued instructions to all the District Magistrates. The Chief Secretary has said in his order that on August 15, all schools will remain open and will organize flag hoisting and cultural programs related to the freedom movement.
Apart from this, all government buildings and monuments associated with independence will be decorated with the tricolor. Strict action will be taken against the schools for negligence in this. The Chief Secretary said that from August 11 to 17, Independence Week and from August 13 to 15, the tricolor program would be celebrated at every home.
The aim of these programs is to inculcate love and respect for the nation among every citizen. On August 15, at 8 am, flag hoisting is to be done in all government, non-government buildings with the signature of the national anthem. All government, non-government offices, educational institutions, commercial and industrial units etc. will remain open and flag hoisting should be done.
Durgashankar Mishra said that Khadi flag should be hoisted at such places and cultural programs related to ‘Deshbhakti’ should also be organized. Prabhat Pheri should be taken out in all schools and colonies with songs of nationalism.
