U.P. DGP lauds Varanasi Commissionerate’s Operation Patal Lok

Lucknow /  Varanasi : A police encounter took place  in Uttar Pradesh’s Varanasi district. In this encounter, the police killed two miscreants. In the encounter, a constable was also shot by one of the miscreants, who was immediately admitted to the hospital. After this encounter, not only the DGP but the entire police department is appreciating the courage of the police team. On the bravery of the team, the DGP has announced a reward of two lakhs to the team. Not only this, the police commissioner has also made two inspectors in-charge of the police station, encouraging them.

DGP gave information

According to the information, after the murder of Inspector Ajay Yadav in Varanasi in the past, the miscreants of Bihar who looted the service pistol were killed by the police in Varanasi on Monday. DGP Devendra Singh Chauhan was constantly monitoring this operation as well. In the case, DGP DS Chauhan told that we had run Operation Patal Lok for these notorious miscreants.

Notorious miscreants shot sub-inspector Ajay Yadav and looted a pistol in Varanasi. We had decided since then that we will not let Ajay’s sacrifice go in vain and will find the miscreants from Hades as well. This operation was also named Operation Patal Lok.

The DGP informed that both the miscreants killed in the encounter were residents of Samastipur, Bihar. Three miscreants had escaped from judicial custody from there, two of them were the ones who were encountered today. Both of them had also killed two policemen in Bihar. At that time the weapons of three policemen were looted. After absconding from the toilet of the Patna district court, the two brothers took shelter in Varanasi from September and to carry out some crime, they looted the pistol of the sub-inspector and left. After this, the police started Operation Patal Lok, then on Monday the miscreants were killed in an encounter. There is no place for crime and criminals in the new Uttar Pradesh. He said that I assure the people of Uttar Pradesh of security.

Police team got reward

Appreciating the Police Commissioner, the DGP said that Varanasi Police Commissioner Satish Ganesh has done an excellent job. We have given a reward of two lakh rupees to the team that carried out this operation. On the other hand, the two inspectors of the team who did the encounter of the two miscreants have been rewarded by being made in-charge of the police station. Young sub-inspector Brijesh Mishra has been made in-charge of Chitaipur and Rajkumar Pandey has been made in-charge of Lohta police station. Both the inspectors of 2017 batch have been made police station chiefs.
