U.P. DGP warns of stern action against hate speech case

Lucknow: The U.P. DGP has taken a tough stand regarding the increasing cases of hate speech. He has issued instructions to the policemen regarding this. UP DGP DS Chauhan has directed to take strict action in such cases. He said that the police should automatically take cognizance of the cases of hate speech.

He said that it is very important to take action in the matter of hate speech. On Friday, the DGP said that strict action will be taken in cases related to hate speech. He has instructed the police to strictly deal with such cases in which no complainant is coming forward, or the complaint has not been made in writing. The DGP has asked the police to take suo motu cognizance of such cases.
