Lucknow: A statewide inspection campaign has been started by the UP Gauseva Commission to encourage the managers of the registered Gaushalas of Uttar Pradesh and to listen to the difficulties of the Gaushala. To further push their cause, the Vice-Chairman of the UP Gauseva Commission, Jaswant Singh alias Atul Singh, first inspected two gaushalas of Lucknow, Laxman Gaushala, Jankipuram and Gopeshwar Gaushala, Malihabad, Lucknow.
Those inspecting at Laxman Gaushala, Jankipuram, Lucknow were appreciative of the maintenance and conservation-promotion of cows. The arrangement was liked and they took prasad at Annapurna Bhojanalaya run by the cowshed.
The Vice-Chairman of the UP Gauseva Aayog, Jaswant Singh praised the Gaushala for its good work. A memento of Gaumata was given to the Vice President by Gajendra Singh, Manager of Lakshman Gaushala. After this, Vice President Jaswant Singh visited Gopeshwar Gaushala, Malihabad, Lucknow.
The Gaushala Manager, Umakant Gupta and the Naib Tehsildar of the area, Suresh Tripathi were apprised about the activities being carried out at the Gaushala. It was also apprised that the women of the area have been provided employment in various schemes at the Gaushala. He assured the gaushalas to resolve the difficulties in the way of cow service from the commission and even at the chief minister’s level.
