U.P. Government gets ball rolling for operation of lamination units of wood-based industry
Lucknow: With the inspiration of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, for the development of the state, the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, U.P. has recently started registration for operation of lamination units of wood-based industry.
In the process of lamination, mica, sunmica, commercial / decorative face, plastic / plastic fiber, mica on the outer surface of the board to make better products by value addition on pre-made products such as particle board, MDF / HDF, plywood and other types of boards.
Paper, Glazed sheet etc. are glued to make better products by lamination machine. With the establishment of these units, a better quality product will be prepared in the state through Value Addition, the units of the state will get work, better products will be available to the general public, new employment opportunities will be created for the people, an environment for industrial investment is ready. And the government will get additional revenue. Also, with the establishment of these units, the farmers in the state will get fair price for their crops and will help in doubling the income of the farmers. Therefore, setting up lamination units is in the public interest for the all-round development of the state.
The entire process of registration will be online. Online application for registration can be made through the link “Registration of Lamination Units” in the web portal www.upforest.gov.in developed for the registration of wood-based industries of the Forest Department. Detailed conditions and procedure can be seen on the above link of Forest Department. After examination of each application, approval will be done by the State Level Committee for Wood Based Industries, UP and on the basis of which the registration certificate of the unit will be issued online by the concerned Divisional Forest Officer.
