U.P. Government has plans to provide labourers with cashless health treatment

Lucknow: The government will provide cashless treatment of Rs 5 lakh to crores for registered laborers of the unorganized sector in the state under Mukhyamantri Jan Arogya Yojana. The Labor Department has included it in its 100-day action plan.

The previous Yogi Adityanath government had decided to start Mukhyamantri Jan Arogya Yojna to provide cashless treatment facility.

A mandate in this regard was issued by the Labor Department on October 20 last year. There are 79 lakh workers registered on the portal of Uttar Pradesh State Social Security Board.
