Shravasti: Hon’ble State President BJP, Leader Legislative Council, Hon’ble Minister, Jal Shakti Department (Irrigation and Water Resources, Flood Control, Fallow Land Development, Minor Irrigation, Namami Gange and Rural Water Supply Department) Swatantra Dev Singh at Auraiya Tikai in Gilola’s development block of the district in Jal Jeevan Mission Phase-2, under “Har Ghar Jal” program Inaugurated rural piped drinking water scheme at a cost of Rs 286.56 lakh by offering prayers.
On this occasion, Hon’ble Jal Shakti Minister said that piped drinking water scheme has been launched under the ambitious scheme “Jal Jeevan Mission” being run by the state government. Due to which definitely potable clean drinking water will be provided to the people. He also told that through this scheme water facility will be easily available in the villages and habitations around Auraiya Tikai. With its establishment, it is sure that every household in this area will get clean drinking water just like the city.
During this, District Magistrate Neha Prakash apprised the Hon’ble Minister that the population of 2417 villages/majras of Auraiya Tikai would be benefited by this drinking water project. In which 01 tube well, 01 pump house, FHTC 484 nos. She told that this pump is powered by solar energy, with its installation, every household will get clean drinking water just like the city in this area.
On this occasion, Hon’ble President District Panchayat Daddan Mishra, Hon’ble MLA Ramferan Pandey, Hon’ble Member Legislative Council Dr. Pragya Tripathi, District President Mahesh Mishra Om, Chief Development Officer Anubhav Singh, Sub Collector Pravendra Kumar, Sub Collector Ikauna RP Chaudhary, Executive Engineer Jal Nigam along with SM Asjad. Other honorable public representatives and concerned officials were present.
Thereafter, the Hon’ble Minister inspected the road repair work on the bund near Madhavapur Ghat under development block Jamunha and directed to repair the road on a war footing before the rainy season. During the inspection, the Hon’ble Minister directed that in any case, effective steps should be taken to avoid damage to the road and special attention should be paid to repair.
He directed the Executive Engineer Public Works Department and Executive Engineer Flood Works Division present there that care should also be taken that the road should not be cut under any circumstances. So that the road should always be safe, so that there should not be any problem in the traffic.
Thereafter, the Hon’ble Minister reached Mankapur and took stock of the Tilakpur Dam by conducting a surprise inspection. On finding slack in the speed of construction of the bund, he directed the executive engineer to complete the construction of the bund immediately after getting the work done on a war footing, so that the village could be saved from floods in case of possible floods. He also directed that whatever agencies are responsible for the rescue of flood disaster, all the work should be completed in time. He also said that those institutions which will be lax in anti-flood works, will not complete the work within the time limit, action will be taken to blacklist them by giving notice. During this, Hon’ble Minister reached Tilakpur Dam and also checked the quality of the dam by walking on foot, and also met the villagers to know their well being.
