U.P. government working hard to give spiritual tourism a much needed high

Lucknow: Under the Spiritual Circuit-3 of the Swadesh Darshan Scheme of the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, various projects worth Rs 898.35 lakh were approved in April, 2020 for integrated tourism development of various tourist places.

A target has been set to complete these projects by December, 2020-22. Instructions have been given to take special care of standard and quality in construction works.

Giving this information, the Minister of Tourism and Culture,  Jaiveer Singh said that under Spiritual Circuit-3, Dronacharya Temple, Jawal Rishi Ashram, Dauji Temple, Chamunda Devi Temple and Shiva Temple in Jewar, Solar Light, Bench, Dustbin, for tourism development. Interlocking, signage, high mast light, public convenience and multipurpose hall are being constructed.

Jaiveer Singh informed that under tourism development of Mahadev temple and pond in Dadri, Dadi Sati temple, Dhak Wale Baba’s temple, Pataleshwar Shiva temple, Shivkuti, Shiv Mandir, Gulabwali and Naya Sir temple, solar lights, benches, dustbins, interlocking, Highmast light, path-way, rain centre, wall wall, entrance, public convenience and multi-purpose hall are being constructed.

The Tourism Minister said that similarly construction work is being done in Secunderabad, Noida and Khurja for the development of various temples and for the development of public facilities. He informed that these works were sanctioned in April, 2020 and are to be completed by December, 2022. For this, C&DS, UP Jalnigam Ltd. has been made the executive body.
