U.P. Leadership Summit 2022 to lay blueprint for 1 trillion dollar economy dream

Lucknow: The Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industry of U.P. is celebrating its Silver Jubilee on 29 November 2022. During the span of two and half decades. the members of the Chamber have contributed over 2 million hours for industrial growth of Uttar Pradesh. The Chamber was founded by Dr. B.K Modi and subsequently nurtured by leading Industrialists of the country. Currently LK Jhunjhunwala is the President of the Chamber. The Chamber is working proactively to invite investors from all over the world and committed to support investment in Uttar Pradesh

The Chamber is organizing the UP Leadership Summit 2022 on 29th November 2022 at Hotel Taj Lucknow. The U.P. Leadership Summit 2022 is focusing on attaining $1 Trillion Economy as envisaged by Yogi Adityanath, The Summit also focuses on inviting investors to support Global Investors Summit 2023 scheduled on February, 10-12, 2023. The Chamber is joining hand to support Invest UP in their mission. The U.P. Govt has given a target of Rs 50,000 crore investment to the Chamber.

CM Yogi Adityanath has very kindly given his consent as Chief Guest of the Summit. The Summit will also be addressed by Satish Mahana, Speaker Vidhan Sabha, Brajesh Pathak, Deputy Chief Minister, Nand Gopal Nandi, Industry Minister, Jaswant Singh Saini, Minister of State, Parliamentary Affairs & Industrial Development, Kapil Dev Agarwal, Minister of State of the Ministry of Vocational Education and Skill Development, Durga Shankar Mishra IAS, Chief Secretary, Prof. D.P. Singh IAS Education Advisor to  CM of UP, Manoj Kumar Singh IAS, APC, Awanish Kr. Awasthi, Advisor to CM of UP, Arvind Kumar, IAS, IIDC, Mukesh K. Relations have also been organised.

As per the research group of the Chamber, the current SGDP of Uttar Pradesh is Rs 21.74 Trillion. At present, the contribution of Primary, Secondary and Tertiary sector in state GDP is in the ratio of 26:25:49. Since our vision is to attain $1 Trillion economy in next five years, it is preferred to focus on service sector to achieve optimum return over investment in shorter period. It is focusing on promoting investment in Uttar Pradesh by focussing on Industrial Investment and Employment Promotion Policy 2022, MSME Policy 2022 and other 23 Sectoral Policies, improved Law and Order Situation, improved ranking in Ease of Doing Business.
