U.P. Lokayukta briefs Governor Anandiben Patel on case redressal
Lucknow: State Lokayukta Justice Sanjay Mishra met Governor of Uttar Pradesh Anandiben Patel at Raj Bhavan today and presented the annual report of Lokayukta Administration Year 2021 before her.
Lokayukta apprised the Governor that a total of 1487 complaints were disposed of in the year 2021. In which, in 85 complaints, the complainants were provided complete relief in the complaint made by them. In 82 complaints, a total amount of Rs 2,54,93,286/- was paid to the complainants as their retired bills. He informed that as a result of getting complete relief from this administration, 47 complainants and complainants have also expressed their gratitude.
In this sequence, Lokayukta Sanjay Mishra told the Governor that a total of 40 reports, interim reports, recommendations and special reports were sent by Lokayukta and Up Lokayuktas in the year 2021. In which Report – No 33, Interim Report – No 1, Recommendation – 2, Special Report – No 4. Under which a recommendation has been made for action against 07 IAS, 07 Nagar Palika and Nagar Panchayat presidents, 83 other public servants.
The Governor discussed about public awareness and spread among the students regarding the Lokayukta organization. The annual report of Lokayukta will be sent by the Governor to the Chief Minister for necessary action.
On this occasion Principal Secretary to Governor Kalpana Awasthi. Deputy Lokayukta Dinesh Kumar Singh, Deputy Lokayukta Surendra Kumar Yadav, Anil Kumar Singh, Secretary- Lokayukta Apoorva Singh, Chief Investigation Officer- Rajesh Kumar, Joint Secretary- Avneesh Sharma and other concerned officers were also present.
