U.P roadways to increase number of buses ahead of Chhath Puja
Agra: Bhaiya Dooj is celebrated across the country. For this, there will be a crowd in the bus-trains of the commuters. From UP roadways bus stands to railway stations, there will be a lot of passengers. Transport and railways have geared up for passenger amenities. Trains have been increased on each route from Agra. In view of the crowd coming out on Diwali, Govardhan, Bhaiya Dooj and Chhath Puja, the transport and railways have made preparations. The number of buses going from Agra to Delhi and coming from Delhi side has also been increased from 80 to 110.
UP Roadways has also increased the operation of buses on the route from Agra to Jaipur, Madhya Pradesh, Gwalior. About 580 buses are being operated from Agra. At the same time, the Railways has also operated about half a dozen Puja special trains staying at different stations of Agra. There will be a huge crowd of people at the roadways bus stand and junction from Wednesday. The Transport Department has also imposed the duty of employees at Bhagwan Talkies, Rambagh, Kuberpur, Etmadpur in Agra. So that, by stopping the bus, passengers can sit in it.
Not only Bhaiya Dooj but also the crowd will gather for Chhath Puja. Actually, due to Corona, there was a ban on gathering of crowds in many places for two years. In such a situation, there was also a shortage of people going to the ghats. However, this year the administration is likely to increase the crowd. The administration has made preparations for this and in view of this, the services of buses have been increased.
