U.P. Transport Minister to ensure easy availability of buses for smooth travel of Holi revellers
Lucknow: In view of the Uttar Pradesh government festivals, the transport corporation operates additional buses as per the requirement, so that the passengers do not face any kind of problem in reaching their destination.
In view of this, Transport Minister Dayashankar Singh has said that like every year, the Transport Corporation will provide additional bus services this year as well, in view of the Holi festival to be held on March 07-08.
For the convenience of the passengers, it has been decided to run 2065 additional buses on Holi festival this year, so that the people of the state can be safely and conveniently taken to their destinations on the occasion of Holi.
It is the responsibility of the state government to provide easy, cheap and safe travel to the people of the state.
Dayashankar Singh told that additional buses have been arranged for all 20 areas by the Transport Corporation. 140 in Prayagraj region, 60 in Kanpur, 200 in Etawah, 150 in Moradabad, 50 in Bareilly, 250 in Ghaziabad, 40 in Devipatan, 50 in Azamgarh, 60 in Lucknow, 140 in Meerut, 60 in Ayodhya, 40 in Varanasi, Gorakhpur Arrangements have been made for 300 additional buses in Aligarh, 65 in Noida, 150 in Noida, 40 in Jhansi, 100 in Agra, 60 in Hardoi, 60 in Chitrakoot and 50 in Saharanpur.
He told that due to this additional arrangement, the transport corporation will keep proper arrangement of buses on such routes so that there is no inconvenience to the passengers in coming and going to other places as well.
