U.P’s E – Governance Model in Healthcare a hit

Lucknow: Another big achievement has been achieved by Yogi Government promoting E-Governance in Uttar Pradesh. Government of Uttar Pradesh will be honored by the Central Government for e-governance in health services. National Health Mission-Uttar Pradesh for a project/initiative ‘Maternal Newborn Tracking Application’ (MANTRA) initiated by Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Government of India for ‘Delivery Point Health Facilities’. NHM-UP) has been selected to be honored with the Silver Award.

NHM-UP is being given this National Award under Category-I for e-Governance Plan 2023 (E-Governance) under “Government Process Re-engineering for Digital Transformation”. Mantra being recognized by the Government of India as a tool for e-Governance is a major achievement for the state, as UP is the first state to promote online MIS for labor rooms.

Under the Silver Award, NHM-UP will be awarded a cash prize of Rs 5 lakh along with a certificate and trophy for this project. Also certificate and trophy will be given to each team members (4 people including project leader).

The trophy and certificate will be awarded during the 26th National Conference on E-Governance (NCEG) proposed at Indore (MP) on August 24-25, 2023.
