Lucknow: State’s Technical Education, Consumer Protection and Weight Measurement Minister (Independent Charge) Ashish Patel has thanked the Chief Minister for bringing budget for all sections in the Vidhan Sabha. He said that the budget presented by Finance Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna in the Vidhan Sabha is beneficial to all sections of the society including poor, farmers, labour, youth, women.

He said that in this budget, there are 198 diploma level state and 19 aided institutions i.e. 217 institutions in the state, out of which training is being provided in 168 institutions from the session 2021-2022. 49 Government Polytechnics are under construction / in the process of establishment, which will be operated on PPP mode in the near future.

At present 1266 private sector diploma level institutions are being admitted to the students. Including all the existing state-aided and private sector institutions, the total admission capacity is 1,26,436. In order to plan for one trillion dollar economy of the state government, in order to provide more employment to the students and manpower for emerging technology based industries, in the session 2022-2023, under “New Age Trades” 04 courses like data science and machine learning. It has been proposed to conduct educational training in Internet of Things, Cyber ​​Security and Drone Technology.
