Union Budget an inclusive one keeping in mind requirements of a new India: CM Yogi

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath while discussing the budget in Lucknow  termed it as inclusive. During the press conference, CM Yogi praised the budget presented by the Finance Minister and said that this first budget of Amritkal is based on the thinking of developed India. It is an inclusive budget which includes all sections of the society. Every class of people has been given a chance in this budget.

The Chief Minister said that during the Corona period, 80 crore people are getting the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana continuously for the last three years. Work has been done to increase the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana for the next one year. This budget will speed up the development of Uttar Pradesh. He said that this budget is for farmers, youth and the poor.

CM Yogi said that the vision of the next 25 years of India in the Amrit Kaal is in the Union Budget, which is a realization of the vision of a developed India. India is the fastest growing economy in the world, today India has become the 5th largest economy in the world. UP is getting the biggest benefit of PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana. 15 crore people of the state joined the PM Anna Yojana. There has been an increase of 66 percent in the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana so far.

He said that the seven focus points were taken as Saptarishi. The target is to reach the economic growth rate up to 7 percent. People in Uttar Pradesh are getting the maximum benefit of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. 10 lakh new people have just got the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Care has been taken to ensure that the remaining people can also get accommodation in this budget.

In the year of general elections i.e. in the financial year 2023-24, Uttar Pradesh is estimated to get about Rs 2.95 lakh crore from the central government. Of this, Rs 1.83 lakh crore is expected to come as the state’s share in central taxes. At the same time, there is a possibility of getting grant-in-aid from the center of about Rs 93.88 thousand crore. An amount of about 18 thousand crore rupees will be received from the Center as per the recommendations of the 15th Finance Commission.

If the pace of development continues, the amount received from the Center in the revised estimates for the next year may cross Rs 3 lakh crore. In the financial year 2023-24, UP is estimated to get Rs 1,83,237.59 crore as its share in central taxes. This is Rs 13,492.29 crore higher than the Centre’s revised estimate for the current financial year. In the current financial year also, UP will get Rs 23,246.54 crore more as its share of central taxes as compared to the last budget estimate.
