Unique LSG display in Gomti river captivates the onlookers in city

Lucknow: The city of Lucknow is known for its cultured behaviour, its monuments and the creative streak that it embodies within itself. For many years not only did cricket action elude the city, it also lacked a cricket team that it could call its own. Now that the Lucknow Supergiants is for real, the excitement in city is huge.

From Metro rail to larger than life displays, the city is leaving no stone unturned to bask in the glory of IPL action with a Lucknow based team camping in the city giving city folk reson to cheer. From events at Ambedkar Memorial, Jhonty Rhodes much publicized bike moment to now a special LSG display on river Gomti, the excitement around the Giants has reached fever pitch.

The display to promote the team is in Gomti Nagar on the banks of the Gomti and has been attracting people of all hues. Lucknow reportedly will play host to a total of seven matches where the team will take on rivals aiming for the top slot in IPL.
