Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra has given instructions to speed up the work of making family ID. The Chief Secretary was reviewing the work of making Family ID.
During this, the Chief Secretary said that the work of making Family ID should be expedited by making the general public aware about Family ID in rural and urban areas. He said that this will help in identifying the unemployed families and providing them employment and in making the eligible families benefit from government schemes.
Will be linked to Digi Locker
The Chief Secretary told the concerned officials that before issuing the Family ID, all the information related to the family should be duly certified. Family ID should be linked to Digi Locker. Complete details of the benefits of government schemes being received by the family should be entered in the e-passbook of the family ID by the concerned department. With this, the campaign of self-reliance and empowerment of every family of the state will be completed.
He said that all the residual beneficiary schemes run by the state government should be linked to the family ID. The database of all the schemes run with the help of the Central Government should also be obtained and linked to the Family ID.
Additional Chief Secretary Agriculture Devesh Chaturvedi, Principal Secretary Social Welfare Hariom, Principal Secretary Planning Alok Kumar, Principal Secretary Vocational Education and Skill Development M. Devraj, Secretary Child Development and Nutrition Anamika Singh and senior officials of other concerned departments were present in the review meeting.
