UP CM Yogi reviews preparations for the Chaitra Navratri fair

Mirzapur :  Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given detailed instructions to make necessary arrangements for the convenience of the devotees at the Chaitra Navratri fair.

The Chief Minister, who arrived on Vindhyachaldham division tour on Friday, flagged off the battery-operated car for the specially-abled, and also gave necessary guidelines while reviewing the preparations for the Chaitra Navratri fair by holding a review meeting.

In the review meeting, the Chief Minister said that in the upcoming Chaitra Navratri fair, devotees from different districts of the state as well as general public from other states will participate.

Respecting the sentiments of all, arrangements should be made in such a way that they do not face any inconvenience in worship.

The Chief Minister said that arrangements should be made for cleanliness in the temple premises. In view of the summer season, there should be arrangement of pure drinking water in the entire fair area. He said that for 02 wheelers and 04 wheelers, a vehicle stand should be made by marking a suitable place in the fair area and parking arrangements should be made for the visitors/devotees who come from outside the district and state in the fair.

The Chief Minister instructed that in order to provide timely medical facilities to the visitors/devotees, there should be deployment of doctors along with medicines, so that they can get immediate medical help in case of emergency.

Instructing the police administration to be alert, the Chief Minister said that the administration and the police department should remain active 24×7.

From the point of view of security, the arrangement of the force should be ensured. Keeping in view the possibility of stampede, the route should be decided in the fair area from the point of view of convenience.

He said that all the people engaged in fair duty should be given behavioral training, so that they behave sensitively while respecting the sentiments of the visitors/devotees.

Discussing the possibility of the arrival of large number of devotees from other cities/states, the Chief Minister said that there should be such planning in Vindhyachal region that all the roads leading to Mirzapur should be connected with four lanes. All the electric wires in the entire fair area should be made underground. Similarly, arrangements for drainage should also be made along with it and roads should not be excavated again and again.

The Chief Minister said that private/voluntary organizations should be associated with the work of the fair, so that the visitors/devotees do not face any kind of inconvenience.

Being aware of the progress in the construction work of Vindhya Corridor, the Chief Minister said that there is a need to speed up the work of the corridor and also said that care should be taken that the construction work does not cause any inconvenience to the visitors/devotees.
