U.P. emergency response system to get more hi – tech

Lucknow: The Cabinet has approved upgrading the state’s emergency response system UP 112. In its second phase, efforts are being made to make arrangements for immediate response by reducing the response time to 13 minutes. Also, it has now been decided to get the training of employees done by UP 112 instead of a private company.

Now response is received from 112 within 13 minutes

Regarding this, Finance Minister Suresh Khanna said that companies were selected for three years to develop UP 112 for the first phase. After his time ended, a need was felt to develop it further for the convenience of the people. Currently the response time from 112 is 13 minutes.

People got immediate response

Reducing this is a priority of the government. The effort is to ensure that people get immediate response. For this, to further develop the project in the second phase, the Cabinet has approved the work of M/s V Win Limited for the center service provider and M/s Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) for the service integrator.
