Lucknow: The Cooperative Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Mukut Bihari Verma said that the transaction of money is getting easier through mobile ATM vans. The work of providing better facilities to the customers is being done by the ATM van of the UP Co-operative Bank. Continuous work is being done by the cooperative department for the upliftment of the farmers. Keeping in mind digital banking, better arrangements are being made in the UP Co-operative Bank and District Co-operative Banks. Co-operative banks are providing better facilities to the customers.
Cooperation Minister Verma inaugurated the renovation of seminar room of Agricultural Cooperative Training Institute, Lucknow, flagged off 06 mobile ATM vans. Along with this, Micro ATM, Net Banking and Grievance Portal were launched to promote digital banking. He said that with the availability of facilities based on latest technology, quality training would be imparted to the employees of the three-tier cooperative credit structure by the Agricultural Cooperative Training Institute. If the training is received in a better way, the implementation of departmental plans can be done properly. If the schemes are implemented properly, the eligible beneficiaries will definitely get the benefit.
UP Co-Operative Bank Ltd. Chairman Tejbir Singh said that Uttar Pradesh Co-operative Bank Ltd. and District Co-operative Banks are continuously improving and the name of UP Co-operative will be further illuminated. Better facilities are being provided to the farmers through cooperative banks.
Principal Secretary Cooperatives said that 7414 micro ATMs have been made available to them in order to improve the economic condition of agricultural credit cooperative societies started in the state, in which business correspondents have been appointed, who are providing various banking facilities as well as providing packs. Will be helpful for improving financial condition. On this occasion, it was told by the Principal Secretary, Cooperative that with the introduction of Net Banking and Grievance Portal, the customer base of cooperative banks will increase and their credit towards cooperative banks will increase and cooperative banks will also provide customers with other banks at the time of present competition. State-of-the-art banking facilities will be provided.
CGM DS Chauhan of NABARD said that NABARD will continue to cooperate with the UP Co-operative Bank.
Giving information about the achievements of the institute, it was told by the Managing Director that in the last two years, the participants were provided training on various subjects while fulfilling the 100 percent targets set by NABARD and NABARD has awarded ‘A’ grade to the institute. This has increased the reputation of this institute of Uttar Pradesh as a cooperative training institute at the national level.
