UPMRC makes Diwali festivities special with a string of activities

Lucknow: On the occasion of Diwali, Lucknow Metro has organized Mega Diwali Carnival from 06th November to 10th November 2023. 40 stalls have been set up at the Hazratganj Metro Station. The stalls of artificial jewelry, resin art jewelry, paintings-arts and crafts, clothing and apparels, jute bags, perfumes, leather bags, chocolates, organic food products, bakery products etc are on display at the Hazratganj Metro Station.

Along with this Diwali Carnival; starting from 5th November 2023 onwards one month Repahatwar Book Fair has commenced at the Hazratganj Metro Station. To add ingredient of entertainment and make this ‘Diwali Week’ special; Three music band performances will be organized on 6th, 8th Nov and 10th Nov 2023 in the evening from 05:00 PM to 07:00 PM. A quiz session will be conducted for the passengers and the winners will be rewarded with special gift vouchers.

Speaking on the occasion, UPMRC MD  Sushil Kumar said that ‘Lucknow Metro has been organizing such mega events, exhibitions and carnivals since its inception. With an aim to provide best business platform and promote the local businesses, we are in indeed committed in our resolve to create amicable business environment for the people. The special feature of these exhibitions is that majority of the products are developed in the in-house facility. Therefore, through these exhibitions, we are also promoting ‘Make in India’ products. I believe ‘Diwali Carnival’ is the best occasion, when people can explore the real essence of Lucknow through its arts, artifacts and artistic items offered by various vendors during this exhibition. I invite the people of Lucknow to be become a part of this mega carnival going to be organized at the Hazratganj Metro Station from 06th Nov to 10th Nov 2023.
