UPMRC MD felicitates hard working employees

Lucknow: UPMRCL Managing Director felicitated the best performing employee for the month of November, 2022 with ‘Employee of the Month’ award; Employees also received awards for commendable work

Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited (UPMRCL) awarded Vinay Dubey, ‘Employee of the Month’ award for November, 2022 and  Rajkamal Jataur and  Jyoti Singh for their meritorious work.

Sushil Kumar, Managing Director, UP Metro presented him with the award for distinguished service and dedication towards his work. Apart from this,  Sushil Kumar honored the security personnel posted at the stations –  RK Upadhyay,  Prem Prakash and  Shakeel from the housekeeping staff by giving them citations and cash prizes.

Vinay Dubey, Station Controller/Train Operator immediately regulated the train operation effectively coordinating with other departments for prompt rectification of technical glitches. Due to their promptness and devotion to duty, train operations were normalized in the shortest possible time.

Jyoti Singh, Station Controller/Train Operator saved the life of the passenger by applying emergency brake while operating the train. In fact, when the train was about to reach Mawaiya Metro Station after leaving Munshipulia Metro Station, at the same time the passenger got down on the Metro track. On seeing the passenger on the track, the train controller stopped the train by applying emergency brake.

Jyoti Singh was awarded for her commendable work.

Rajkamal Jataur, Station Controller/Train Operator, while on duty at Krishna Nagar Metro Station, averted a major accident by his alertness. At the Krishna Nagar Metro station, a passenger had reached very close to the Metro track. Rajkamal pressed the ESP (Emergency Stop Plunger) button as soon as he saw it on the CCTV, which brought the train to a stop before the platform.  Rajkamal was honored for his commendable work.

Security guard  RK Upadhyay, while on duty at Singar Nagar Metro station, saved the life of a passenger by pressing the ESP button. The passenger fell on the metro track from the platform, after which the security personnel, showing understanding, stopped the train before the platform by pressing the ESP button. Security personnel  Prem Prakash, while stationed at Munshi Pulia, helped a passenger to return safely a purse containing Rs.6000 cash and gold bracelets and other items.  Shakeel from the housekeeping staff was honored for the maintenance and cleanliness of Singar Nagar Metro Station.

Speaking on the occasion,  Sushil Kumar said, “Every individual associated with UPMRC is a pillar of our strength and we are honored to have people who, with determination and hard work, strive to provide a world-class public transit system. Dedicated and committed to the mission.
