UPMRC Start Books Donation Drive to Support Underprivileged Children
Lucknow: UPMRC and Sanskriti Society collaborated to commence 2 days books collection drive from 16th September 2022 to 17th September 2022. The books donation drop boxes are placed at the Vishwavidalaya and Hazratganj Metro Station. The people can donate different types of books in bilingual language. General Knowledge Books, Unused Drawing Books, General Hindi, English Books, Story Books, Maths Books, World Atlas and Stationary Items and so on can be donated at the drop boxes placed at the aforementioned metro stations.
Sanskriti society is an NGO known for supporting the education of underprivileged children. The main purpose of ‘Sanskriti Free Library Mission’ is to start community libraries for the underprivileged children residing in cities and villages. Driven by a noble cause to enlighten the lives of millions of children, Sanskriti is operating 100 community libraries particularly in villages of India. Its mission is to start more such libraries in the future. The books donated by the people will support the needy children in their education. This campaign will support them to become better citizens of India.
MD UPMRC, Sushil Kumar, expressing happiness on this books donation drive , said that ‘’UPMRC is committed to provide every kind of support required for the social cause focused towards enlightening the lives of millions of needy and underprivileged children. It has been associated with such noble causes since its inception”.
