UPPCL employees get a unique gift on Republic Day
Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has gifted bonus to the personnel of Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation (UPPCL Personnel) on Republic Day. As per the intention of the Chief Minister, UPPCL will provide ad-hoc ex-gratia amount (bonus) to its employees for the year 2021-22.
32517 personnel will get benefits
Such a resolution has been passed by the Board of Directors of the Power Corporation on the initiative of M.Devaraj, Chairman of the Corporation. About 19 crore expenditure will be incurred on the bonus amount and 32517 employees of the corporation will be benefitted by this. Employees will get an amount equal to 30 days’ emoluments as bonus.
According to President M Devraj, the state’s Yogi government and the corporation are sensitive towards their officers and personnel. It is our endeavor that keeping in view the economic condition of the corporation, the employees should continue to get their benefits. He has appealed to the personnel to continue doing their work with honesty, dedication and hard work. Management is always with them.
In October last year itself, the Yogi government had increased the dearness allowance for the employees of the state. Giving Diwali gift to state employees and pensioners, the Uttar Pradesh government had announced a four per cent increase in the rate of dearness allowance and dearness relief from July 1.
The Chief Minister had announced that the Uttar Pradesh government has increased the existing rate of dearness allowance and dearness relief to state employees and pensioners/family pensioners from 34% to 38% with effect from July 1, 2022. Meanwhile, the Chief Minister had made another important announcement saying that for the financial year 2021-22, it has been decided to give bonus of Rs 6,908 to each employee.
