Upset over failing in answering question, man takes life
Lucknow: After failing to answer, a young man hanged himself in a hotel in Naka, Lucknow in Hotel Ratandeep, located in Gurunanak Market under police station Naka.
The young man suffering from depression committed suicide by hanging himself in the hotel room by writing a suicide note. According to the information received, according to Charbagh outpost in-charge Vinay Kumar Mishra, 28-year-old Ashish Kumar, son of Shivprasad, resident of Gangaganj, Kanpur had stayed at the hotel. According to the hotel manager, the young man was called from the reception to eat food in the afternoon, when the answer was not received after calling several times, the manager informed the Naka police.
The man in the room was hanging from the noose with the help of a pot. By breaking the door of the room, the police entered the room where the police recovered 2 tablets, 1 mobile phone, a bag, clothes and 1600 rupees from the room along with a suicide. It was written in the suicide note that, I failed in my life, could not do anything for my family, so I am committing suicide.
Instead of handing over my dead body to the family, it should be handed over to the P.G.I Institute of Medical Sciences! Naka police started investigating the cause of suicide thoroughly after informing the family.
