UPTET Exams held amidst tight security

Lucknow: UPTET exam has been conducted on Sunday. The UP Teacher Eligibility Test was conducted with the COVID protocol at Islamia College in Lucknow. Sonam, who was present at the examination center, says that all arrangements have been made to prevent malpractice. The UP TET paper was cancelled last year after the alleged leak of the question paper.

The CM has directed to take all necessary security-related measures to ensure fairness in the examination. For any disorder or untoward incident the DM, BSA, in-charge of the examination center will all be held responsible. Reportedly on November 28, 2021, the examination was cancelled after a paper leak case came to light.

Several people were arrested hours before the exam.  Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also directed the officials that the past records of the institutions should be taken into consideration before making them the examination centres. He said that institutions with dubious image should not be made examination centers at all. The result of UPTET-2021 will be declared on February 25. The exam will be conducted in two shifts – from 10 am to 12:30 pm for primary level teachers and from 2:30 pm to 5 pm for upper primary level teachers.
