Uttar Pradesh is no longer known for the mafia: PM Modi 

New Delhi: Appreciating the law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that there was a time when Uttar Pradesh was known for mafias and broken law and order situation, but today its identity is of better law and order and fast-paced development.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was heard saying so in a video message at the ceremony where appointment letters were being distributed by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to 9,055 selected police sub-inspectors, platoon commanders and fire officers in Lucknow, “There was a time when Uttar Pradesh was dominated by mafias. And it was known because of the collapsed law and order, but today it is recognized as a better law and order and fast developing state.

The Prime Minister said, “These days the employment fair has become a special event for me. For several months, I have been observing that job fairs are being held every week in one or the other state ruled by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Thousands of youths are being given appointment letters for employment. I am fortunate that I am getting an opportunity to witness that. “He said,” The BJP-led government has strengthened the sense of security among the people.

He said, “Despite this, I am personally saying as an MP from Uttar Pradesh, even though you have got the appointment letter, your new life has started, but never let the student within you die. “

The Prime Minister said that after 2017, 1.5 lakh appointments have been made in the police alone. The region is now being known as the Express region. The flight of the youth here has got new wings due to the loans being received from the Mudra Yojana.
