Uttar Pradesh’s sub-junior taekwondo team selected, will participate in national sub-junior taekwondo competition

Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh sub-junior team selected for the upcoming 36th National Sub-Junior and 11th Poomse National Sub-Junior Taekwondo Championship to be held in Cuttack (Odisha) was announced recently. The treasurer of Uttar Pradesh Olympic Association, Dr. Syed Rafat Zubair Rizvi, while presenting the kit to the selected Uttar Pradesh team at a function organized at KD Singh Babu Stadium, wished the team for the best performance in the championship.

Uttar Pradesh Taekwondo Association Secretary Rajkumar informed that the 36th National Sub-Junior and 11th Poomse National Sub-Junior Taekwondo Competition will be held from 25 to 27 March 2023 at the JN Indoor Stadium in Cuttack (Odisha). The Uttar Pradesh Sub-Junior Taekwondo team will leave for Cuttack on Thursday, March 23, 2023, from Kanpur Central Station.

The sub-junior taekwondo team of Uttar Pradesh is as follows:-

Boys Category: Jain Ali, Lakshya Mishra, Virat, Lakshya Kumar Singh, Vaibhav, Aarav, Manoj, Aryan, Sambhav, Prakhar, Vinit, Kuldeep, Shashwat, Rudransh.

Girls Category: Yashasvi, Akshita, Dishu, Adrika, Arpita, Vedika, Manaswini, Nikita, Sufia, Riju, Saumya, Vaishnavi, Vaishnavi Chandra, Navya Singh.

Poomse team

Children: Rustom, Lakshya, Suryanshu, Vaibhav, Aakriti, Vani, Arya

Girl: Suhani, Naisa

Coaches: Mayank Bharti, Vishal Mishra, Priya Maurya, Pooja, Managers: Virendra Bharti, Chandrabhan, Sandeep Singh
