Lucknow: Under the aegis of Uttarakhand Mahaparishad Bhawan, Kurmanchal Nagar, Lucknow, Uttarakhand Mahaparishad organized a grand program of traditional Holi singing, Khadi Holi and Jhode at the premises of Uttarakhand Mahaparishad Bhawan.
Hundreds of artists and citizens from different areas of Lucknow, Neel Matha, Telibagh, Rajajipuram, Gomtinagar, P.G.I., Chinhat, Mahanagar, Kurmanchal Nagar, Pant Nagar, Kalyanpur, participated in the said event.
The presentation of the Holi Bol of Brij by the Rangamandal of Uttarakhand Mahaparishad – and the Chapeli dance “Gorikha Cheli Bhaguli, Bhaguli Cheli Teele Dharu Bola” captivated the audience.
Artists from the Theater – Mahendra Singh Galakoti, Vijay Singh Bisht, Ramesh Adhikari, Dharmendra Rawat, Mohan Bora, Himani Kandpal, Harshita Rawat, Aarti Bisht, Sonam Rawat, Shri Jagat Singh Rana, Paan Singh, Jagat Singh Dhapola, Pushpa Vaishnav, Colorful presentations were given by Haritima Pant etc.
Along with ‘Bitai Piya Tune Raina’, Jhoda teams of Pushpa Vaishnav from Gomti Nagar, Janki Adhikari from Telibagh, Hema Bisht from Kalyanpur and Haritima Pant from Kurmanchal Nagar presented their beautiful performances.
Chandramani Joshi and his team enthralled the people by performing beautiful Holi, “Shiva Ke Mana Mahi Base Kashi” and “Jal Kaisi Bharun Jamuna Deephi” and by organizing various colorful programmes.
Harish Chandra Pant, Dewan Singh Adhikari, Mangal Singh Rawat, Bharat Singh, Ramesh Chandra Singh Adhikari, Lalit Bisht, Kushal Singh Chufal, Bhuvan Patwal, Rajendra Kanwal, Satya Prakash Joshi, etc. were present in the program.
On this occasion, while expressing gratitude to all the artists, members and audience, the President – Harish Chandra Pant gave the blessings of Holi while giving warm wishes for Holi.
