Vande Bharat brain Sudhmanshu Mani shares his life mantra with city folk
Lucknow: “Vande Bharat Train and Transformative Intervention of Indian Railways”:-The man behind the creation of Vande -Bharat. Sudhanshu Mani former GM of the Integral Coach factory in Chennai and is credited with the development of the Vande Bharat train from conception to commission.
Lucknow Management Association organized an interactive session with Sudhanshu Mani at the LMA Conference Hall, in the Presence of LMA members, Rotary club, IIA, and Gomti Nagar Jankalyan Mahasamiti members. After the Introduction of Mr.Sudhanshu Mani by LMA’s Vice President Mr.A.K Mathur present a memento to eminent speaker. Mr. Sudhanshu mani speaks largely about the project of Train 18/Vande Bharat express, the first indigenous modern semi-high-speed train of India…followed by the likely and desirable trajectory of Indian Railways in Amrit Kal in passenger & freight transportation, station development, and dignity of railway workers and travelers in a developed India and the vote of Thanks given by Mr. Mohit Suri chairman of IIA.
Sudhanshu Mani retired in the apex grade of GoI from the Indian Railways (IR) Service of Mechanical Engineering as General Manager, Integral Coach Factory, Chennai after serving IR for 38 years. He also served as a Railway Advisor in the Embassy of India, Berlin for 3 years, interacting with railway systems in Europe and other advanced countries on behalf of IR. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers, London. He led the Train 18/Vande Bharat Express project, India’s first indigenous semi-high-speed train, from concept to delivery. His journey in leading and completing the unique Train 18 project is recounted in his best-seller book, ‘My Train 18 Story’. He has authored six more books, including four on a subject of his special passion, art, and railways, one each on the greening of the environment and collation of the works of Ghālib and Shakespeare
