Varanasi Police Commissionerate busts Inter State Irani gang

Varanasi: The Varanasi Police Commissionerate has cracked down on 6 members of an inter-state robbery / scuffle gang who have been arrested. Recently, 8 lakh rupees were looted from a trader of Ghazipur in Thana Chowk.

These gangs are known as Irani Gang. In the name of checking by acting as police, they do fraud / rigging and robbery. This gang is on constant movement.

This gang does not stay more than two days in any one city. Master Mind Abu Haider is a resident of Bhopal. Its right hand Mehndi Hassan is also a resident of Bhopal.

The SUV Tavera and 2 motorcycles used in the robbery were recovered. Out of the looted amount, about seven and a half lakh rupees were also recovered.

A team is being sent to Bhopal for the documentation of this gang. Many modules of Irani gang are operating all over the country. A team is being sent to Bhopal to collect the crime data of this entire network. The arresting team will be given a reward of Rs 50,000.
